Nod for Southern Bio's project.

HYDERABAD: The Ministry of Environment and Forests has granted 'Host country approval' to the bio-diesel project proposed by Southern Bio Technologies, Hyderabad, under the terms of the clean development mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol. N. Satish Kumar, Managing Director, said in a release that the Government approval would enable them to sell certified emission reductions to global carbon purchasers under the terms laid down by the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change. Southern Bio Technologies is setting up a bio-diesel plant at Chautupal in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh. - Our Special Correspondent
